Largest Fundraiser of the Year - Thurs. Sept. 14

Our largest fundraiser of the year - Give for Good Louisville is nearly here!

Thanks to your generosity, we raised an astonishing $15,235 in a single day last year. This year, we hope to raise even more!

This is a 100% virtual event, and you do not have to live in the Louisville-area to participate.

Note: The Community Foundation changed the prize offerings. Here's how you can help this year:

  • We need as many donors as possible (our goal is 100) to donate $10 (or more) to help us win a share of a $84,000 proportionate match pool.

***To count, the donation must be a "unique donation." A "unique donation" is defined by (1) donor per an email address and credit card. Submitting multiple donations using the same email address does not count, and may result in us being disqualified.***

Please consider donating on this special day, and spreading the word to your family and friends. It only takes a few minutes. Here’s a link to the Facebook Event.

All donations must be submitted online through the special button below on Thursday, Sept. 14.

Summer Break Is Here

The sewing students are getting ready for a well-deserved summer break! But before they go, we wanted to give a quick update on what they've been up to this May.

Port-de-Paix students helping children

The Port-de-Paix students (pictured above) have been working on a special community project. Their goal is to make outfits for 40 children in need, and they're nearly finished.

We're so proud of them for wanting to help children in their community. We'll share photos once the project is complete.

Meanwhile, the Mole St. Nicolas sewing students continued learning how to make long-sleeve shirts.

Thank you for continuing to support the sewing students. You're helping to make opportunity possible in Haiti!
