Our mission is simple. To serve the people of the Northwest region. We provide sustainable, real support to Haitians in need, enriching their lives both spiritually and physically.

In April 2016, we started a new partnership with Northwest Haiti Christian Mission's Mole St. Nicolas campus to start a sewing program.

The Castillo family has been living in Haiti for over 10 years in St. Louis du Nord. Jody’s father, Larry Owen, started the Christian Mission in 1979. Jody spent most of her life in and out of Haiti and graduated from the University of Kentucky’s School of Nursing. Her husband, Jose, serves on the mission’s board as the Communication Director. They moved to Mole St. Nicolas in June 2010 to begin a new campus plant. They have 8 children – Gigi, Mikela, Rosie, Malaya, Gabriel, Levi, Asher and Isebelle.

This ministry is changing lives in our community. It’s giving ladies who are often abused/mistreated a chance to support their family and stand on their own.

It’s the only sewing class within a 3-hour walking distance. I’m grateful for the support & sacrifices made so that we can not only provide jobs but show them Jesus in a very tangible way. This class is creating disciples and a sisterhood of support!
