The students would like some rib knit fabric so they can make make t-shirts. This is the material that is used around the collars of t-shirts. Prices vary, but it’s typically around $9/yard retail.

Both the Port-de-Paix and Mole St. Nicolas sewing programs are currently learning how to make shirts. Here’s a few shirts that they have made so far. They’re doing a fantastic job!
Helping Children in the Community
The Port-de-Paix sewing graduates recently made some beautiful new outfits for children in their community. The children were so happy to receive their new clothes. For many, it was the first new outfit they've ever received. Here's a few of them modeling their new clothes. The smiles say it all!
